I changed my motherboard and tried to start the system. The system starts fine, but as soon as the operating system loads, the system is shutting down automatically. This happens everytime I start the system. I also tried to install Windows2000 during boot up, but still in the middle, my system is shutting down.

Yes, I mounted the fan correctly. I have a heat sink in between the fan and the cpu. there was a sticker for the heat sink that is used to stick it to the cpu. and the heat sink is also locked to the cpu perfectly.
thank you
Ravi

Hi
Thank you all for your kind help. The problem was with the cpu fan. I removed the new cpu heat sink with the fan and installed my old heat sink (this is without a fan).
