Comment:
Got a new system with Win ME. When I try running Windows Media Player, I get an error of WMPLAYER has caused an error in MSVCRT.DLL. I even wiped the hard drive and did a fresh install of Win ME and still get the same error. Even did an extract one more time for MSVCRT.DLL and still get the same error. Any ideas? Thanks.

What are your system specs?
If you go to start>>run>>mplayer2 and try to play something in version 6.4, do you get the same error?
Does this happen on every media file or just a certain type?

I have the same problem, but when I run mplayer2 I have no problems with it. What can I do?? In addition, I noticed this all occurred at the same time I began having problems with some instant messnger programs like Yahoo (ypager.exe) and ICQ (ICQMUTL.DLL) cause errors. Any suggestions on the media player or all???
