Hi Linda

Sorry, can't help you with that one but how did you get on with your cable modem problems?

Regards

Stuart

i have another hp drive and it has that ether net hook up. so im safe now. still im going to get this hp xg 838 drive updated with a card. i just really like the windows me that came with it. knowing nothing about computers ive probably messed with every program and stuff on it and no matter i can get on computing net and keep it going. thats why i get upset with hp or windows or whoever as they build something that you really can use then they want to upgrade.
every thing is antique after 6 months now.
i had a cell phone for 5 years had to upgrade
to a computer camera phone. what a joke. you barely touch a side button and it continually takes pictures.you cant hear any better and it doesnt have any better coverage. im to the point i huff like marge simpson as i cant take anymore bull stories of how cool they are. but still thanks stuart and everyone for all the help
