I've had some glitches ever since upgrading to Media Player 9. I do recall installing that patch needed for ME OS that is recommended from MS due to system restore. Since utilizing Norton Personal Firewall, I get problems with Media Player. I do disable it prior to using it. I have some MPEG's saved to CD, and trying to play them today caused two things to happen: 1)The comp freezes, and control/alt/delete revealed twice something called 'msqsrv32' not responding. The first attempt to play the file gave a generic error in media player. I try rebooting, it is nothing but a bandaid solution. Please help and thanks in advance!

Use system restore to a time prior to this problem. Disable ANY/ALL Antivirus, Firewall, and ect when downloading, doing it "after" the fact is rather late in the game eh? Good luck.
