there is no uninstall feature, as this is a beta release you have to do a system restore to before you installed it.
hope this helps.

Mike and others,
Unless you're experiencing problems, keep it. I have it and think it's the best yet. I use a lot of specialist music software for recording (SONAR, SoundForge etc.) and WMP 9 works well in its own right as a media player. I have Winamp as well, but reckon that WMP 9 is better,

No, you want to run system restore. Its a utility built into windows me that allows you to roll back to before you installed the software.
If you disable system restore you will lose your restore points and you wont be able to roll back. Hopefully you waited before trying it.

The only other way to get rid of it without losing everything else is to reinstall Windows over itself without reformating. Had to do it myself when Media Player 9 quit working completely.

If you rename the exe file to a .old extension, it will revert back to the last version you had. There is an icon in that folder called WMP2 and this is actually the old exe file from the last version which becomes the useable exe file once the other is renamed. Jimi_l
