I have tried what several of you have suggested to no avail. The exact message is as follows, Scandisk has restarted 10 times windows or another program has been writing to this drive. quit some programs, this may enable scan disk to finish sooner. 2 Also when starting up today I had amessage that file IPHLPAPI.DLL needs to be fixed what and how do I do that.

I had the same problem, You didn't download Kazza by any chance did you? It puts stuff all over your hard-drive. Bloody thing.
