My Windows ME disc is damaged. To keep from loosing it, I applied adhesive to the sleeve to retain it in the manual. The adhesive leaked through onto the disc. Numerous attemps to clean it have failed (using diluted alcohol, soap, etc.). If someone has an upgrade disc, could they please contact me if they are willing to burn a replacement.

I do have the COA, manual, etc. - I'm only looking to replace the disc for licensed use.

I had the first disk of Microsoft Word bad once and e-mailed Microsoft or maybe called on phone but I was asked for the numbers on the disk and was sent a new replacement free of charge. I am sure the same procedure is still in place. Try.

I agree they are not bad in that regard.

As long as you can supply tham with the valid code and id they morethan likely will send you a new CD.

Had recent experience with a frind of mine, and his XP cd, they just obtained his name and addy, ands posted the cd to his home.

Good luck
