Subject: Windows ME Uninstall Out of Memory

CPU/Ram: 733 MHZ 256 Ram

When attempting to uninstall Windows ME after a lengthy time of scan disk, when getting through most file scans I eventualy get a message "Out of Memory" and cannot complete the process. Now the CPU hangs up when starting. Cannot load any drivers now. Help!

Mattman,

I guess, I've never had to deal with that type of problem. That's if you are talking about an upgrade, and you saved your previous system files.
This page will tell you how to try it from a boot disk.(EBD)
