I have a HP Pavilion 8765C, and my problem is that I am not able to restart my computer the normal way... all I get are continuous beeps till the Windows ME screen shows up, and then only the cursor blinking. However, I am able to start the computer in Safe Mode or Step-by-Step Mode (with the beeping still happening till the desktop shows up). Can anyone help?

This is the list of programs that open when I restart my computer: motmon usbmonit poproxy kodakccs realplay aoltray companion mad wkcalrem navapw32 rxmon9x I am not sure what any of the programs are and why they start up. What I do know is that some of them cause my computer to run slower if I don't shut them down using the control, alt, and delete keys. What information can you give me? Also I am not sure how to send my questions to the right person. Any suggestions?
