I just bought a controller to play games through my USB port. As soon as i plugged the controller into the USB port, it detected it and installed it. I restarted my computer but there was an error with the initial installation. To fix that, a pop up window said that i need to reinstall it...no problem with that except that when i try to do it, another pop up window comes out with something about needing a Windows ME startup disk in the floppy drive to find a driver. Unfortunately, i dont have that disk! Is there somewhere i can dowlnload a startup disk file and copy it to a blank floppy? I already checked the microsoft homepage and the hardware manufacturers homepage aswell...i have pending email replies. Any pointers?

ok...let me a give a more accurate depiction of whats happening. i propmt to create a floppy disk but it says "the file 'aspi4dos.sys' was not found. Setup cannot find the cource disk. Please make sure that the disk is inserted properly, and then click ok to continue". that dosent make sense to me. im not sure what im supposed to do here...oh and btw, the driver did not come with the controller. like i said, its supposed to be a plug and play controller...

Are you sure it asked for a start up disk and not an OS DISC which is where you will find the drivers for hardware.
Windows by default, may look at the floppy drive for the drivers (which is where you may get confused). If it can't find a floppy, it will look at the CD drive.
