Comment:

I have to reboot my computer every couple of days because the resources get so low. Anyone else have this problem? Anyone have a simple solution?

Thanks!

Removing all unneccasary items from 'msconfig'-'startup' will speed her right up by freeing up some resources for ya. ME does use a lot of resources and really needs 256MB of ram to run good.

Simple solution:

Go back to Win98(se) or Win95B...they are both faster, easier on heaps/resources (no matter WHAT you do) configurable and crash less. They also support a wider range of devices and apps.

ram has nothing to do with resouces. me will
run quite well on 64meg of ram. use msconfig
to lower the resouces. those other fools dont
have a clue.
