I have a PS/2 logitech mouseman wheel mouse with the latest mouseware installed, and Im having a problems with the middle button function in games. When in a game, the 'middle button' function does not register at all, where as other button functions are recognised (i.e. if the button is set to ctrl or shift). Windows seems to refuse to load the correct logitech drivers for the and instead loads some drivers for a standard microsoft optical mouse, thus meaning the third button function is not recognised. I have tried changing the drivers to the correct logitech, and also uninstalling both the software and the drivers for the mouse and then reinstalling them, but after a reboot the standard microsoft drivers are again loaded in place of the correct logitech drivers?!? The mouse was working fine until just a week ago or less, and I haven't installed anything new since then... Any ideas on how to fix this would be gratefully received.
