Hi People,

Can someone help me with a little query regarding creating an OEM Installation Boot Disk for Windows ME.

I've been able to create Windows 95 & 98 OEM installation Boot disks by running MKCWRT.exe off the Win 95/98 CD, and then using the OPKWIZ.exe program to setup my disk. I've searched for the MKCWRT.exe program on the Win ME CD and have not found it, does anyone know how I go about this?

Any help gratefully appreciated.

Rory

You do not need a boot disk with ME it boots from the CD. However you can create a PPK boot disk if you want in the same way as Windows 98.

Is there a recovery disk or something for windows me ? I cant even get my machine to boot up without getting an error message. It does not even seem to be reading the cd rom, so I can't do a uninstall
