Windows ME Login Password

I am in need of a(preferably free) way to keep others in my household from using my computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

folder shield is a good program is also free you can lock your desk top and also run it at startup that should keep them away.!

For this kind of OS there is always easy to get in to it. You can only bother a person to take more time to get into it.

http://www.softheap.com/secagent.htm (if that don't work, just use the first part, its called Security Administrator, it stops during the bootup process and allows you many chooses from disabling the floppy so it makes it diffulcult to try starting from a boot disk(but you may not want to shut down that part in case you need it for some reason, like norton start up in case you get hit with a virus.

You can also put in a BIOS User password that will prevent the computer from booting unless the password is entered.

BIOS Statup password is the way to go.
You will ofcourse have to dissable booting from floppy, and make sure no1 can open your computer (else a BIOSreset will become very easy).
