I have a HP Machine (6751), standard as is out of the box, I added 256 Mb RAM and that is all I have done to the machine. I have two USB devices, am running Norton System works and that is it.
My machine does the following
BLUE SCREEN at least 3 - 4 times a day
JUST RESTARTS
GOES INTO DEEP FREEZE - Have to unplug power from PC, replug, then switch on to get it started again.
Will just lose dial up connection at regualr intervals
Seems to take forever to switch between some applications, ie: Word, Excel, Access etcIn short ME is driving me nuts, is it just me or is this without a doubt one of the worlds worst OS ever written ?
Paul

I have 318 MB in total, another amazing thing is that out of that memory I have only 33 Mb free currently, I am only running, Outlook, 2x Explorer and my dial up as well as some bacground USB stuff. Is thing a memory hog?

Please post back or e-mail how you get on {:o)

Er. Don't unplug your PC when you 'deep freeze'. You run the risk of sending a shock to your mobo. Then you'd really be in the crap. Just hold your power button down for up to 10 seconds and your PC should shut down itself.
