My computer continues to freeze on startup. I believe the problem is my video drivers. When I uncheck, in msconfig, the system.ini file "display.drv=pnpdrvr.drv" the computer starts. When that file is checked the computer goes black after the ME logo is displayed. I have a DH Savage 4 video card and downloaded the drivers off of the internet. These drivers worked previously before I reinstalled ME and now they seem to not work....HELP

Perhaps reinstall the driver in Device Manager? Hit WIN + PAUSE (or right-click on My Computer and click Properties), and go to Device Manager. Remove the Display Adapater driver. Then restart and it will reinstall the driver. It may use a generic driver if you used one downloaded off the internet, but you can install the updated one after that.

You may also need to update your 4 in 1 chipset drivers, because the reinstall will have lost them. Have a look at point 15 of the homepage link on this response.
