WINDOWS ME FREEZES WHEN I TRY TO PRINT

I have hooked up 2 different printers to a DELL Inspiron 3200. Everytime I try to print anything other than a test page, the system just freezes, the only thing you can do is to turn off the computer and restart. I have downloaded recent drivers for both printers, I never had this problem until I upgraded to ME.

ctrl-alt-del does nothing, I have to shut the computer off with the powerswitch.

I have the same problem - I thought it was my canon printer - so I downloaded an upgrade for that driver. The latest thing I have done is to change the spool to EMF and start printing after first page is spooled - it seemed to work for a few hours today. Tomorrow - who knows?!

I've had the same problem with my Lexmark - print one page, freeze, reboot. Thanks, AJ. Changing to EMF has me printing several pages a session. However, still waiting for the other shoe to fall.
