I recently bought a Jump Drive and wanted to transfer files from my old computer to my new computer. My old computer which uses Windows ME is where I copied some files to the Jump drive. I went to my new computer which uses Windows XP SP2 and put in the jump drive and clicked on the jump drive and their were no files listed. Went back to the computer with ME and put the jump drive in and it showed 5 files. I then remembered that my windows ME was using Fat32 and my XP computer was using NTFS. Could this be the problem, and if so can Windows ME use NTFS?

Thanks.

"can Windows ME use NTFS?"

Nope, ME is based on DOS, and (on its own) recognizes only FAT partitions - but that doesn't seem to be the problem.

It's whatever format the jump drive is using that's relevant, but in any case, WinXP should be able to read it
