Subject: Windows ME Error -- VMM(01)OS: Windows MECPU/Ram: Pentium 866 / 384 RAM |
Comment: I've been having some computer problems of late. I was able to solve many of them by running a disk scan and defrag in safe mode. The computer seems to be back to normal. However, one error still pops up. I am connected to the internet via DSL. Sometimes when I try to connect to internet explorer, I get a blue screen error. The error is VMM(01) + 00132CA, ERROR : 0D : 0028 : C00142CA. I've looked around the internet and found that it may be a problem with virtual memory... but I'm not sure. Does anyone have any advice on how to avoid this problem?? Thanks, Throck P.

Reply: (edit)Look at point 15 of the homepage link on this response. That error usually means you need to update your chipset drivers.
