Comment: File Name: VMM(12) + 000030E6 Error:)0E:0028: C02820E6 I get this message at startup, it wont boot into safe mode, or any mode for that matter. Can someone tell me if this can be figured out without a OS disk or a boot disk. This Win ME was installed and teh guy wasnt given an OS or boot disk. Any websites? solutions? etc. Im still looking for this error code, cant find it to get me going. Thanks all!

Error Message "Vmm(12) 00004c3c at
0e:0028:c0283c3c" and possibly other
VMM(12) errors with win(ME)
This error is most likely caused by a
corrupt registry.
Resolution : Click START, select Run and in the text
box type scanregw.exe and click the OK
button. If you the computer asks to save the
registry answer Yes. When it is done reboot the computer.

Reply: (edit)You might want to install Ad-aware, a program that searches your computer for spyware. If you downloaded something with spyware it could have corrupted thr registry.
