OS: Windows ME/ Fedora Core 1
CPU/Ram: P4 1.6Ghz 128MB RAM
Comment:

Ive Recently just installed the new Linux distribution Fedora Core 1 by Redhat on a separate ext3 partition.

I already had WINDOWS ME installed on a FAT32 partition.

Ive also installed GRUB (i dont know if its on MBR or on a partition). GRUB loads fine...and boots Fedora flawlessly, BUT Windows ME fails to boot!

After selecting it frm the menu in GRUB, this is what comes up:
Booting "windows"

rootnoverify (hd0,0)
chainloader +1

the following file is missing or corrupted: C:\WINDOWS\IFSHLP.SYS

the following file is missing or corrupted: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\VMM32.VXD
Type the name of the Windows Loader

C>_

What do i do? I have a Win ME start-up disk, from which i ran fdisk and confirmed that all the partitions are still intact.

Pls advise.

hello
try rebooting with m.e bootdisk and at the a:sys c: click ok and after it says system tranferd reboot.
if that dont fix it try this

you need to edit grub to include m.e in the mbr
goto linux forum to find out how.
