I recently installed a piece of hardware. It works fine, however every time i log into windows a question box comes up, asking me to insert the cd with the 'vtruck.exe' program on it. this cd is the one i used to install the new hardware. It works fine and if i do insert the cd it just tried to make me install it again - it doesnt seemt o have registered that it is all correctly installed and operational. Is there a file which contains the instructions to ask for the cd wthat i can wipe? A file that details anything that needs doing on startup that might contain the instruction to prompt for the cd? the hardware works fine its just annoying that it asks me every time i boot up and log in....

either you have to remove the cd after installing the program OR let it remain and restart your system. [it was long back and now i dont remember which step i did]

i had a similar problem but when i did like i explained above it did not ask for the cd again.

As I remember this is one of these nuisance programs like spyware. I had this once some months ago. Try running AdAware 5.82 on your system (freeware) Everybody does these days. I now have AdAware 5.82 Plus for only $15 and haven't had a problem since. Iain.
