Hello to any 1 that reads this. I was wondering, is there any way to block Log On for Windows ME? What i mean by block is, you know how you hit cancel but yet your still able to log on, is there any way to get rid of that? That way even though you hit cancel, it still wont let you log on unless you put a password. Is there something i have to add in the registry? I was able to do that when i used Windows 95 but i don't remember how i did it. Also don't reply saying to get rid Log On for Microsoft Networks and change to Windows Log On, cuase thats not the solution i'm looking for. Also PLEASE! reply to me by e-mail cuase i only have weekends to be on my computer so it will be a bitch to find my reply's by the end of the week. da_sexecutioner@hotmail.com Thanx.

I don't exactly know what happens when these files are deleted, but if you really want to set a password, I suggest you use a bootmanager and set a password to boot winME (can be used even if you have only 1 OS). Or you can set a password on the bios, so you need to enter a password to be able to boot the computer. (but that is easily removed by just pulling out the batery).

Force Users to Logon to Windows

... I'm not sure if the ESC key will get you around this one... test a little and see.

If you are going to network though, a log in is needed. So i would not erase it until you know that you are not going to be networking computers in the future.
