hello window washer wont clean out any gater files knowen spy ware ? they in leage? heres there ignore files list. any one got any ideas?

First.. Gator is awful and not needed and has bad spyware..
Second Get Adaware... That'll kill it.
Use the windows passwords and remember names etc.. Same thing..
I cant remember adawares address..

hello i have ad-ware i dont have gator
i was trying to install window washer .whell doing set up it said i allread had window was so i closed install set up.and went to look to see if i had ive tryed lots of soft ware programs.an im sure i never had window washer. i i turned up in search was windows wasers temp files from unfinishe install. and i decided to have a look at the files that were going to be installed.and in the frist posting is the list of files that windows washer will not toch if you read you will see gator is one of these witch tells me that windows washer is in leage with spy ware gator.so what else is it hideing.if you had gator on your computer windows washer would just leave those spy ware logs alone.
hope that sheds some more light on this.

ive been around long eought to have that . but you can see do to being curiuse and not
wanting to let some program just over write some thing i stumbled onto this.

Maybe the spyware does something to hide itself?
If i understand correctly you dont and have never had gator installed so the hiding theory (guess) is shot down.
Ive been googling for a while and havent found anything linking WW with gator.
I noticed alot of...
Log & txt files in the list.
Dont know if this has anything to do with it or not. Maybe the cleaning of these files when the spyware is installed causes a serious problem. Then again maybe they are in cahoots. Would be a sad day for a company whos known and listed in just about every privacy site on the net to accept money to let gator slither by.

i went and looked at your link gator is one of the plugins that are listed .i guess if you dont get pluging than it dont delete there logs.still that ignore logs file i posted make me want to did some more thx.

what i think is that the links i posted illustrate that there are companies such as ww that are willing to overlook some of the crap that is packaged with certain programs.
if you are resourceful and curious enough you will find these vermin lurking in your system and not have a clue as to their origin. in my slightly paranoid opinion all downloaded product contains some degree of self serving content. some are benign tho others are poorly written problem ridden crap
destined to wreak havoc. the point from my perspective is, yes they are in cahoots, but not near enough to the surface to be seen as spyware accomplices.
where on earth did you get Gator?, i can undestand pkzip(also known as as spy carrier)
at least it performs a legitmate function.
the rest look of the files look ok.
but oh well enough thinkin
