I installed ME and immediately got error messages stating that certain applications (IE and Navigator for example)were interfering with the win5fcl.dll file and were being shut down. I've uninstalled ME (twice) and I'm sure I'll have the same problem if I reinstall. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, how did you solve it?

After installing ME onto my system, problems with IE 5.5 also started. Error messages dealing with msacm32.dll, mshtmled.dll, and kernel32.dll started to appear and IE would shut itself down. Any suggestions on why this is happening? I've tried to download the updates from the microsoft product update page, but I can't access the page from my system. Any suggestions?

You might want to try this

- visit http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/search.asp3

- type in libraries update
choose apporiate o/s

give that a shot and let me know if that works
