Hi, I was trying to partition my hard disk which has a Win Me OS using Partition Magic. When it restarted, it asked to insert the boot disk. Then the system crashed and now I am unable to enter setup, the computer does not boot to DOS, nothing! Just the first screen comes up and then hangs. Please help!!!!!!! Thank you!

I had a similar problem, my boot hung just after checking some drives or summat,cant remember excatly!! If it's a similar problem, it may boot for a few seconds, and in those few seconds, it may say 'Press ESC to cancel drive check' or similar. Because mine was hanging on this, cancelling it meant that it was bypassed and using a startup disk i culd get back to dos. I had to reforat then thou, but at least i got it back!! Basically, try and cancel the operation it hangs on....escape, delete, whatever it says! Hope it helps, let me know...
