Comment: I am trying to install Windows ME on a formatted HD but everytime i try, an error message says that a mismatched setupx.dll is loaded. It says Message SUO 349. Could someone please tell me how to fix this?? I have a Compaq Presario 12XL304 Notebook. I was running Win 98SE but all the drivers for the computer are for Win ME because that was the pre-installed software. Please remember that I have since formatted my hard drive and am running nothing.

I know this is probably a silly question, but you are not attempting to do a fresh
install with a Windows ME Upgrade disk are you?
