For some reason I am unable to use the search for files or folders faciltiy in Win ME. Putting search criteria in the box and pressing "Search Now" does nothing. I can search for people or internet alright.

Anyone any ideas as to why?

have u recently installed TweakUI. Look under the Desktop tab. Check Search Results.

Yes I did install TweakUI and the above sorted out the problem.

Had the same problem and couldn't figure it out. TweakUi sometimes can be a pain for the features that you gain!
