Win me is starting in safe mode .in normal mode it is giving windows protection error .restart your system.system is halted . give me suggestions.

hello try running system restore allso what soft ware have you instald recently? try rebooting with bootdisk in drive and at the a:scanreg /restore click enter a good regrestore point will have started beside it and you have 5 of these set by default each new day you reboot your computer you lose one older restore point. have a nice day

I had this once it turned out to be the Anti Virus Software. I went into Safe Mode then Sys Info then Start-up disabled the Virus software and it worked again as normal. Worth a try
