Subject: Win Me Product Key
OS: WinMe
CPU/Ram: 126Mb
Model/Manufacturer: EMonster 1000B
Comment:
Belarc Advisor shows a Product Key for Win Me which is completely different from the Product Key which is shown of the Authentication Certificate Sticker on the side of my computer. Technicians have used the Restore Disks several times over the years. If I need to use them again, which Key should I use?

The restore disks for your model are all the same and I don't think you even need to enter the key when doing a restore. The COA sticker is just your individual license.

Now if you did a fresh installation using a regular ME disk instead of a restore then you'd need to enter a key. In that case either one--the Belarc result or the COA--should work.

Just in case, it's a good idea to jot down the key Belarc gave you in the event your HD crashes or you lose the restore disks. It doesn't hurt to have an extra key should you want to set up a second PC.
