I have a software that I use daily that requires a DOS driver to process data thru serial comm port. The device was listed as device= c:\abc\abc.sys in config.sys to load ahead of window 98 started. SInce Win ME will not process config.sys prior to booting up, how can I load these DOS driver to run my program on WIN ME?

Put it into its own bat file (Driver.bat).
Call the bat file from the startup menu in
windows.

There is an internet site that has a patch for WinMe that will allow it to process the autoexec.bat and config.sys files. I am sorry, but I have lost the site address, however I still have the email address of the person that runs the site.
