Hi i have a small lan with tcpip
i can ping my server
i can map a drive from dos usinig the net use
but when i want to browse the network
i go to my network places and i see all my objects but when i try to open an object and network places just locks up
any help on why and how to fix it pls

Have you tried to reset your hub? I occasionally run into this problem and resetting the hub usually works.

Try waiting a little longer. I usually helps. 'My Network Places' is slow in detecting other computers, and somtimes freezes in the detecting phase.
