Win ME error

To make a long story short, one of my buddies stuck a HDD containing Win95 into his new computer to transfer some files over. When he restarted the computer it came up with the Win95 rather than ME. He then restarted again (after removing the 95 HDD) and got a Blue Screen error number 06:0167:BEF77317. If anyone could tell me anything about this error and how to rectify the situation, I'd really appreciate it.
Looks like you didn't say what files were copied over from the Win95 hard drive - maybe you copied over some boot files which would in turn cause conflict because they cannot work with files from later operating systems - hence the blue screen.
I'd look at Dave's post above, or try reinstalling Windows over itself - see www.windowsreinstall.com for details.
