I'm having probelms with UT in Win ME. I have a Athlon 900, with a Hercules 3d prophetII gts 64mb video card. UT will randomly crash for no reason, screen freezes, and/or it just vanishes...as though I was never playing...and goes back to desktop. I reformatted and reinstalled UT recently. No help. Reinstalled all drivers on Hercules.com. Tried the latest Nvidia driver. No luck. If I try to run it in OpenGL, it wont even start. It gives a Kernel32.dll error. :( I used to have an old driver from the Hercules site that worked, but I didn't back it up when I reformatted. And Hercules doesn't archive their old drivers anymore (only 3). Anyone know what is causing this? Makes no sense to me.... Thank you for your help! -Jason

How much RAM do you have? If less than 256, download CacheMan at: www.outertech.com Have you used Windows Update? I would start there. Then go to AMD's site for any updates there. Then I would use Cnet's Catchup program to update all my other software. www.cnet.com Then I would go to PcPitstop and see what it turns up. A lot of times it has auto fixes. www.pcpitstop.com

Did you install the 436 Patch as well ? It fix all the freezing for me
