Comment: I did a clean install of WINME and now my Iomega zip cd doesn't think it is fast enough to make music cd's. I don't know if it is a Winme problem because it worked well in Win98 or Adaptec problem because that is the software I am using which says it was made for win95 and win 98. Or could it just be a problem iomega has with the winme os. Anyone with any ideas? Also, from the clean install, I seem to have lost my dos. It is there, but even when starting from a boot disk, the command format c: does not work. So now I don't seem to have a way for a clean install back to 98, and of course, 98 cannot replace winme.....Thanks

Reply: It is not necessarily a problem with Iomega zip CD and Win ME - I have them both and they work fine together - except that Adaptec EZCD sometimes reboots my system... :-( Writing audio CD's is no problem though. I think you should look for an update for your CD drive.
