While removing a program in "add-remove programs" the other day,I came across two strange programs listed there."Wild tangent Updater,and WildTangent Web Driver.I have no idea what these are,or where they came from.There is no refrence to them anyplace else. Trying "run ,WildTangent"comes up with nothing. I imagine they could be leftover stuff from deleted internet downloads,bit I wanted to check and see if anyone knows for sure what they are before I removed them. Thanks to all who respond

This is installed with some games that came on my HP computer. It is the driver, I think, and necessary for you to play some of these games. The games on mine that use it are under 3D games- blasterball, gem master, pigpen, space rocks, and speedway. You don't need to remove this, unless you want your games to lose their functionality.

Also, you can go to the website from within the games. Click on go to games or something like that. Maybe you can find more info there.

Wildtangent is a game website. I got those programs when I try to play a game from their site. www.wildtangent.com I think its the 3d driver for their games.
