That page has a utility for controlling the feature. If you click the "next" link at the bottom you will find the information your looking for on the next page.

Heres an idea of what you will find :

"Each input field in a Web-based form has an internal name that identifies the field to the system. The field also has a friendly display label that identifies it to you, the user. The internal name doesn't have to relate to the field's purpose, but it usually does. For example, a field labeled First name might have an internal name such as FirstName, first_name, or fname. When you submit the information in the form, Internet Explorer records each input field's data in the Registry in a list associated with the particular field name"

"the internal field names are visible in the Registry, but the data is encrypted"

If I'm thinking right... it's in the google folder in your history. Do you mean the "Google Search: xxxxxx"??? Then that's where it is on my PC.

thanks for the answers but i think that's not it.
to be exact, i'm not looking for the history of google's pages i've been to but for terms such as "autocomplete MRU", "data mining" etc, i've typed before, and i get when i type the first letter in the search window.
I already installed few soft. but no such data exists in any form's field.
thanks
raz

If your looking to find where google stores search history in the registry..

The answer to your question is linked to in response #1. This isnt a "look here to find that" question/answer. Its a bit more complex. You need to read thru the several page article i linked to.

Basically.. the history is in the registry but its encrypted. It doesnt show up in plain english like Typed Url's. "AutoWhat?" is a freebie from pc magazine that allows you to read/ control the value data.

If im way off you may need to reword your question.
