what kind of ethernet cable do i need?

I never thought buying an ethernet cable would be so hard, anyways here goes i have dsl and im gettin a router i want to share it with another computer but im not sure what kind of ethernet cable i should get i was looking around and i see Cat5 350mhz and im not sure if this will work or not any ideas guys thnx

Dante, that should work fine. I asked a very similar question recently on the networking forum here and that's what I was told to get.

cat "5" called "straight through cable" is used with a router. You can also use a cat "5" "cross over cable" this way you only need two network cards. good luck Snap
