Hi i have been looking for details on hotmail's smtp and pop3 but can't find it anywhere. Does any one knw. Also is there a list of all of these from other services aswell.

Hotmail doesn't use POP3.

you probably cant check it with your icq. But there are two email clients that will work. One is outlook Express, the other is incredimail. You can download incredimail from download.com than you will have to turn around and download the upgrade from www.incredimail.com for some reason they have not posted the very latest one to download.com and you need the upgrade so hotmail will work. I highly reccomend incredimail because it flat out rules

Hotmail doesn't use POP3 or SMTP for incoming/outgoing messages, but it can be used with software such as Outlook/Express etc. In Outlook Express you can merely set Hotmail istelf, but anyway, to use it, it is:
A HTTP Server:
http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp
and your login name is your full email address

I DOWNLOADED INCREDIMAIL BUT WHEN EVER I TRY TO SEND MAIL IT SAYS THAT MY POP3 SERVER ISN'T CONNECTING WHAT SHOULD I TYPE IN FOR THIS TO WORK? POP3 SERVER? AND
STMP SERVER? I'M ALSO HAVING THIS SAME PROBLEM WITH OUTLOOK EXPRESS WHAT CAN I DO TO FIX THIS ISSUE? MY COMPUTER IS BRAND NEW.
PLUS I HAVE COMCAST AND AOL AS MY INTERNET ACCTS, DOES THIS MAKE A DIFFRENCE? PLEASE GIVE ME A SOLUTION TO MY PROBLEM
