im so confused cause so many things control so many other things but what exactly does the registry or regedit do.. i mean if u wanted to manupilate a program wouldnt you mess with the .dlls or .ocx or even the .exe of that program using a resource hacker or hex program or would you be better off manupilating the program through the registry and if so is there a program to do so with thnx..
You don't want to mess with regedit unless you have something very specific to do and you know exactly what you are doing. It is very easy to corrupt your system to the point where it no longers boots.

Summary: What is overclocking? I just upgraded the RAM on my P3 from 128 mb sdram to 256mb. I didnt exactly get the most expensive brand...in fact, i was VERY conservitive with the dough when buying the RAM....
