Comment:
I went to remove a programme and saw 'C-Dilla' etc. This is listed many times when I run Spybot but it doesn't tick it for removal. Should I remove it or is it needed for something?

krystyna I went into the web you recommended and I couldn't see any reference to C-Dilla and wondered why you had referred me there. When I came out of the site, I got a series of error pop ups saying there had been an error on windows .I had to come off the internet to get rid of the pop ups and then come in again.

Hi maxie1
Sorry, but the link takes you to a redirected page ! When you get to macrovision home page, go to SEARCH box in the top right corner, and type C-Dilla, and you will get a few choices of links. This is where the C-Dilla info is.
I didn't get any error popups when I just went there.
Good luck Krystyna

C-Dilla is license management tool - I guess you could call it a software lock. It comes with a number of programs eg. AutoCAD, 3D Studio Max and similar. If you delete it the particular program will no longer run and you will have to reinstall and get another authorisation. It seems it does contain some form of Spyware but there's probably not a lot you can do about that.
