What happened to my music?

Comment:
I've had the same music on my computer for years.
They have always played at a normal rate.
Now, all of a sudden, they all play at twice their speed!
It sounds like Alvin and the Chipmunks remixed them all!

Delete the sound card driver and re-install it. That may fix your problem. If not download the driver from manufacturer website.
Post back with the result.

Just a min. What are you using to play back the music? Windows Media player? If so you may have accidentally put it on fast forward. The control for that is on the line where the satus bar is in media player ( the line that moves when songs play ) Try clicking on the far right or left side of that line on a button that has small arrows and see if that helps.
