I went to a site (earthcamtv.com)using both IE and Netscape and am having trouble loading other's views from their webcams. I am supposing that I have the most up to date java and java virtual machine but I am still getting a blank screen. Does anyone have any other tips of things i should be looking for to configure my sustem to recieve webcam views? Also, does anyone have any other good webcam sites as to view Preferrably "non-adult" in nature please.
thanks

Are you using Netmeeting? - numerous artices at Microsoft Help
Try this one for starters
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q166114

Actually I am not familar with net meeting. I am old schooling it by just clicking on website and hitting the desired link through both IE and netscape, alternately, both have problems.
The sites help/FAQ point to java problems but my java is up to date and current and I have the java virtual machine as it recommends, though i have no idea how to check if I have the most up to date java. Java is another world to me when it comes to those downloads and updates.

If you are trying to view a transmission from a web cam you can download Netmeeting from Microsoft (or you may have it already installed)
If it's just viewing a website the Java problem may be on the site page you are viewing?
Is it on just one site?Rgds
Dennis

Just one site so far (earthcamtv.com). i am takingg suggestions for other sites to test. Sites where you see individuals, and not companies or organizations, webcam views. Non-adult ones which seem to be scarce in supply out there in my limited experience
