I have a Toshiba Satellite 1800 series notebook running Windows Me. Recently the following message started popping up, and pops up every time I boot:
"Warning: A problem with the cooling system has been detected. Please turn off the computer immediately, and return it for service.
However I had the computer checked by a technical friend who tells me that that internal fan is working just fine and the computer is indeed not overheating as the mesaage suggests.
The computer works well even with the message on the screen. It is just annoying to have it there.
I just want to find a way to stop this message from coming up.
Please help me and thank you.
