Vxd error screen turns blue!

I get the the vxd problem, when ever I put in a data cd, music cd, software cd into my dvd player. As soon as I put in the cd in the drive the sceen turns blue and it say's. "Windows" An error has occured in vxd and 012313 and this is from vxd 0134123 and a bunce of other numbers as well. Then it says it my be possible to continue normally or press control alt del, or press any key to continue. I try all it just freezes. I can only run dvds in it please help me!!! Tell me what the problem is thanks. (I tried reinstalling windows, changing the drivers, a tech helped me do that and still no difference.

What exactly are ALL the numbers? Please post the entire error. Kind of hard to look it up by what you are giving us. Did you go to Windows Update after re-installing? What is your system?

Hello,
perhaps you can help me...I have the same problem.
The error has occured in vxd 0028:1B500000, 0028:C18419F8 in vxd scsihlp(03) + 00000508.

All other symphtoms are exactly the same like above...System is Windows98 SE.

Hope someone could help me out...Thanx!

Found a solve...but do not understand it ;)
There was a hint at techadvice...the scsihlp.vxd was the problem...I had to rename it to scsihlp.old, so it couldn't be loaded while starting up...now everything is fine...but I worked with my system months without changing and problems...and suddenly...

I Had the same problem until I changed my IDE cable.Try this.

I am getting a blue screen that says error:

0028:FF11F8A5 in VxD that was called from 0028:C000AB74 in VxD.

Any suggestions? Thanks :)
