Every time I open AOL to log on to the Net, I'm getting never-seen-before messages from an application entitled "Just-in-Time debugging" talking about doing a debug of scripts. When I told it NO then I got: Vs7jit has caused an error in <unknown> etc. Could this be something associated with IE5.5 which is now on my machine because I had to restore my whole system? I have also been trying to upgrade to IE 6.0, but there's no way I can do it. Is it something I can get rid of? Thanks a lot.......

someone wrote the following:

-->I got the same error message after running a spyware removal tool (Ad-aware). It suggested the removal of a component such as Viewpoint. Go to Viewpoint.com and get their fix for AOL Media viewer. However, note the tracking cookie under C:\windows\cookies (Windows ME). Delete it. The error message goes away after installing the AOL fix. <---

I'm not sure if that will help, but there it is anyway

Good luck

Thanks a lot!

I tried what you suggested, but as I couldn't find the AOL fix, I decided to uninstall the Viewpoint Media Viewer altogether (hadn't noticed it was installed), and the problem has dissapeared! I can now surf at normal speed!

Thanks again.
