I'm simply trying to set up my WindowsME machine at home as a VPN client. I thought I had to install the "Microsoft VPN adapter", and the PPP protocol, but it won't even give me the option of any Microsoft adapters when I go into Dial-Up Networking...any ideas?

i'm sorry... that should be..

start>>settings>>control panel>>add/remove programs>>comunications(double click)>>VPN

once you install it... it should automatically show up in your network properties.
