Virus Scan question

Hi

I have a query on Virus Scan.
I have just completed a run using McAfee on Windows ME, and each time, I get blocked @ C:\Windows\INF folder.
I have manually checked the rest of the drive successfully.
I cannot see any files in this folder that particularly worry me but equally I cannot see many that could contain a virus or block a scan.
Is this a suspect area for virus ????
What is likely to be halting the scan ???

Thanks in advance

INF files are frequently targets for viruses. I would try Housecall's online virus and see what comes up.

Thanks Brant,

I have ran the checks and all is clear.

However, I still need to find the problem with McAfee and its inability to complete the scan.

Speak to you later.

It sure is a shame that the nice people of this site create a seperate forum just for security and virus and some users fail to use.

But then again people just start clicking away and fail to read and look around first.

There I feel better!
