virus in write protected

CPU/Ram: 900 Mhz/512 mb

I have an alert that I have a virus in my
C:\RESTORE\ARCHIVE\FS201.CAB When I try to quarentine, delete or clean it will not allow and says it is write protected.. WHAT DO I DO????

Boot in DOS, then:

attrib -r C:\RESTORE\ARCHIVE\FS201.CAB
del C:\RESTORE\ARCHIVE\FS201.CAB

It sounds from your original post that you are able to boot up OK.

Have you tried simply right clicking file C:\RESTORE\ARCHIVE\FS201.CAB and unchecking the "Read Only" flag in Properties?
