I don't know if this might help, but why don't you try starting your machine using a start-up floppy? From DOS, unhide/change the properties of the c:\_restore folder and its files (type attrib -r -a -s -h c:\_restore\*.*)
After that, I think you can write the "dir" command in order to find what you need within the _restore folder and delete the bad file manually.

just disable and reenable system restore.

to do this:
right click my computer
go to properties
go to performance
click file system
go to troubleshooting
put the check in "disable system restore"
click all the ok's and apply's until prompted to reboot.
reboot.

do the above to reenable system restore.

run your scanner... you should be fine... but your restore dates will be gone.

You man...are in deep s---.
The virus does reside(?) in _Restore.
Someone or you,in the past has executed a prog. wich contained the virus (backdoor) code.
In _Restore are back up copies of the programs run on your machine, nothing more.
U RUN THE VIRUS
